President - Cameron Crisman, CFA
Cameron Crisman has been a volunteer with BAFEF since 2009, and currently serves as Board President. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and has nearly two decades of experience in securities analytics and portfolio management. He is on the board of the Petit Teton Foundation, and has been a partner with Petit Teton Farm since 2008, active in all aspects of building the small farm business. He has been serving as a Board Member of the Agricultural Institute of Marin since 2019. Cameron earned Bachelor’s Degrees in Asian Studies and Japanese from Caifornia State University, Sacramento.
Vice President - Sharon Hayman, CFA
Sharon Hayman is former Head of Relationship Management for Jackson Square Partners, having joined Jackson Square Partners (JSP) in January 2015. Prior to joining JSP, she was with Matthews International Capital Management from December 2012 to January 2015, where she was responsible for the firm’s relationship management efforts. From 2006 to 2012, Hayman was head of financial institutions client services at Delaware Investments. From 1994 to 2000, she held various roles at Delaware Investments, beginning in the internal audit department and later in the fund product management area. From 2000 to 2006, she was with Gartmore Global Investments, where her product management experience included working with sub-advisory and offshore funds. Hayman earned an MBA in marketing and finance from Drexel University and a bachelor’s degree in management from Gettysburg College.
Treasurer - Salina Yeung, CPA
Salina Yeung has had an extensive career in finance. She is currently serving as a financial consultant for a non-profit organization. Recently she served as CFO at Union Square Investment Company and prior to that was a Principal at Hall Capital Partners LLC. Salina has also held positions at Tukman Capital Management Company, The Charles Schwab Corporation, and Arthur Andersen L.L.P. Salina earned a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from University of Colorado and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Certified Financial Planner (CFP). Salina serves on the Finance Committee of the Asian Pacific Fund, and had served on the Board of Financial Women of San Francisco. She currently serves on the BAFEF Board of Directors as Treasurer, as well as volunteering her time to teach personal finance to Bay Area Youth.
Secretary - Jennifer Morimoto
Jennifer Morimoto has been a volunteer with BAFEF since 2022 and currently serves as Chair of the foundation’s Marketing Committee and volunteers on the Fundraising Committee. She is the Co-Founder and COO of private equity firm, Madison Investing, a real estate investment group. In addition to her background in investing, she has over 15 years experience in brand strategy, digital marketing and ecommerce. She is a passionate financial literacy advocate. Jennifer holds a B.A. from the University of Colorado, Boulder and lives in Alameda, CA with her husband and two sons.
Board Member - Erik Satre, CPA
Erik Satre, CPA is currently a Finance Strategist at Amazon Web Services (AWS) in the Cloud Economics group where he helps large companies understand the economics of moving to the Cloud. In addition to his work in economics, Erik has over a decade of experience as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Strategic Advisor in Finance and Analytics. Erik has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Santa Clara University, and an MBA from the University of Michigan. Erik has been a volunteer with BAFEF since 2020 and is very passionate about financial literacy in education. In addition to teaching in BAFEF”s program, Erik is a member of BAFEF’s Curriculum Development Committee. Erik joined BAFEF’s Board of Directors in 2022.
Board Member - David Lindenbaum, CFP®
David Lindenbaum is an executive level wealth management expert with a specialty in managed accounts, cryptocurrency and alternative investments. He has successfully lead product development/management departments at top banking and brokerage institutions including Charles Schwab, Wells Fargo and Bear Stearns. He has a lifelong passion for financial planning, education and wellness. David received a BA from UC Davis and earned the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation in 1997.
Emeritus Board Member - Jane Lopus, Ph.D.
Jane S. Lopus, Ph.D., is Professor of Economics Emerita and Director of the Center for Economic Education at California State University, East Bay. Her Ph.D. is in economics from the University of California, Davis. She is widely published in economic education research and in economics curriculum materials. A former high school economics and financial literacy teacher, she has conducted seminars and workshops in 15 former communist and developing countries to train teachers to teach market-based economics and financial literacy. Jane was named the Cal State East Bay Outstanding Professor in 2006 and received the Wang Family Excellence Award, a California State University system-wide award, in 2008. A former president of the National Association of Economic Educators, she has received their awards in both economic education research and leadership. She was a U.S. Fulbright Scholar to Romania in 2010 and 2017 and is a founding board member of the Global Economic Education Alliance, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting economic, financial literacy and entrepreneurship education worldwide.
